Tiling Training, Product Training and Apprenticeships
Opened in May 2016, the Norcros Adhesives Skills Centre provides modern, bespoke facilities to enable the delivery of the company’s expanding range of product training and tiling courses for the benefit of both its customers and own employees. The Skills Centre comprises a lecture room and large practical area in which the size and configuration of the tiling bays can be changed to accommodate up to 12 trainees. The nature of the training puts the emphasis firmly on the practical aspects, with all trainees encouraged to improve their own product knowledge and tiling techniques.
Through our state-of-the-art Skills Centre, we’re able to provide a whole range of tiling courses suited to people of all backgrounds – from beginner to advanced – as well as a variety of practical courses available. We’re proud to be able to offer the TTA Trailblazer Apprenticeship Tiling Course, in addition to product training courses, theory and practical courses that include tiling to heated floors, wet room tiling, and more.

An Introduction to Wall & Floor Tiling
Course Overview: This course will allow you to broaden your skills when identifying and preparing substrates for wall and floor tiling. You will learn the difference in types of tiles available understand the principal types of adhesives and grouts and what they are used for plus much more.
Norcros Adhesives Product Training – Theory & Practical
Course Overview: During the Norcros Adhesvices Product Training course you will learn many new skills including how to identify the correct types of Norcros preparation products, adhesives and grouts, as well as understanding when, where and how each product should be used.
Tiling to Heated Floors Theory & Practical
Course Overview: This course will help you to understand the design considerations for a successful underfloor heating installation. You will learn the skill for the identification of substrates, their suitability and preparation requirements and to recognise different types of tiles plus much more.
Tiling to Wet Rooms Theory & Practical
Course Overview: This course will help you to understand the design considerations needed to tile successful wet rooms. Following the course you will be able to identify different types of substrates, their suitability and preparation requirements and more.
Fixing Natural Stone Theory & Practical
Course Overview: This course will support your understanding of the different types of natural stone and will arm you with the skills to select the correct stone for the job. You will also learn the correct preparation of substrates and fixing and finishing methods and much more.
